Server Analytics
Member growth, retention, join sources, message and voice activity, and a report Arclo posts to your staff channel on a schedule. Always on — there is nothing to enable.
Analytics is a view of your server rather than a system that acts on it, so it has no master switch. A switch on an observer is a trap: the day you want last month's numbers is the day you would find the counters had been off.

Where the numbers come from
Analytics reads what other systems already record and only stores what nothing else does. One fact, one owner — so the growth chart and the invite leaderboard can never disagree.

Retention needs history
Day-1 and day-7 retention are calculated against arrivals old enough to have reached that mark, so both are empty for a server that added Arclo yesterday and fill in as the days pass.
The Overview tab
- Range
- Today, 7 days, 30 days, a year, or all time. Everything on the page follows it.
- Datasets
- Growth (joins and leaves), Messages, Voice, and Active members. Picking one changes the chart, the four headline tiles and the two sections underneath, so the page only shows what explains the line you are looking at.
- Retention
- How many of the people who arrived in the window are still here, at day 1 and day 7.
- Join sources
- Which invite, vanity URL or discovery listing each arrival came through.
- Heatmap
- Activity by hour and weekday — the fastest way to find when your server is actually awake.
- Rankings
- Top members, top channels, and a table of inviters with their retained joins.
Active members is a union, not a sum
One person active on six days counts once, not six times. Sums of daily counts report member-days, which look flattering and mean nothing.
- Every chart exports as a PNG or a CSV. The PNG is rasterised from the live chart, so it cannot differ from what is on screen.
- Green means up, red means down — the color is direction, not identity. A dataset whose direction is ambiguous is drawn in the neutral series color.
- Inviters shows two different numbers on purpose: invites is the standing lifetime total, joins is what they brought in during the window.
Activity reports
The same view, posted to a channel on a schedule. Reports are on by default; a missing channel is a warning rather than something that blocks saving, because that is where every server starts.

Daily, weekly or monthly, at an hour and in a time zone you set. The zone defaults to your browser's until you save one.
Design the embed
The generated statistics ride inside a message you author in the standard message editor — the preview renders the identical embed the bot will post.
Note
A report is claimed before it is sent, so a restart cannot double-post one, and a report more than six hours late is skipped rather than posted with the wrong window on it.
Settings
- Excluded channels
- Traffic in these channels does not count toward activity. Excluding a category excludes its channels and their threads.
- Excluded roles
- Members holding one of these are left out of activity figures — the usual home for bot roles.
- Time zone
- The zone the daily boundary and the report schedule use.
Analytics activity is not the same number as the level leaderboard
Levels counts XP-earning messages under the Levels system's own rules; Analytics counts filtered activity under these exclusions. They answer different questions and are meant to differ.
Pinned statistics
The statistics card can also live as a permanently pinned message that Arclo rebuilds every fifteen minutes — see Pinned messages.
