Emojis
Build custom emojis from parts, add them from a 2,400-emoji library, decide which roles may use each one, and archive the ones you want back later without losing the slot.

Discord's own emoji settings can upload a file and delete it again. This page exists for the three things it cannot do: make an emoji, rule one, and park one.
Note
Always on — there is no switch. The page is a view of the emojis your server already has, with tools on top. A server that never opens it still has every emoji it always had.
The emoji creator
A part-based builder with seven slots: shape, eyes, mouth, hands, glasses, hats and extras — several hundred parts between them, each recolorable.
Open Create one
From either the Library or the Server Emojis tab.
Pick your parts
Choose a shape and a color first — everything else layers on top of it. Hands take the emoji's own color, so they stay visible on any face.
Name it and add it
Arclo rasterises the design and uploads it to your server. The design is kept, so you can remix it later.
Remixing
Any emoji you built can be reopened in the creator from its card, edited, and saved as a new one.
The library
Around 2,400 community emojis in eighteen categories, searchable from the dashboard. Adding one uploads it to your server in a click.
- Regular and animated emojis use separate Discord slots, and the slot meters in the section header show both.
- Every entry in the library has been put through the real upload pipeline, so an emoji that is listed is an emoji that will actually add — no dead links, no files too large, no animations with too many frames.
- Library art is hotlinked and attributed to its authors rather than re-hosted.
Restrictions — the part Discord cannot do
Discord stores an emoji's permission as a resolved allow-list of roles. That has a consequence nobody expects: “everyone except Muted” is not expressible, and any role created tomorrow is silently granted every emoji you set up today.
Arclo stores the rule instead — everyone, allow these roles, or block these roles — and re-resolves it into Discord's allow-list every time a role is created, deleted or changed. A blocked role stays blocked after you make a new role.
You cannot block every role
An empty allow-list means everyone to Discord — the exact opposite of what blocking every role should mean — so Arclo refuses that combination rather than shipping the inversion.
The archive
Archiving takes an emoji off Discord, freeing its slot, and keeps the image here. One click puts it back.
- For emojis Arclo did not add, the image bytes are captured at archive time — Discord's copy is gone a second later.
- Restoring needs a free slot of the right kind.
- The archive is per server, and is part of the data deleted if Arclo is removed.

Why only three
A command earns its place by doing something the dashboard or Discord's own settings cannot, or by being faster. /emoji add takes an emoji from another server or a URL, /emoji info shows the rule (which Discord has nowhere to display), and /emoji remove beats opening Server Settings. Renaming, restricting and archiving are better on the dashboard, so that is where they live.
