Facebook Alerts
This platform has no free API — every tracked account costs us per check, unlike the other integrations. The page explains the state and refuses to create an alert, rather than accepting one that would never fire.
Unavailable for now
This platform has no free API — every tracked account costs us per check, unlike the other integrations. Premium is not on sale yet, so this platform is unavailable to everybody rather than only to people who have not paid — the page explains it and the write path refuses it. Everything below describes how it behaves when it is reachable.
Arclo watches a page and posts an announcement when something new appears. The engine, the message editor, the filters and the behaviour options are the same on every platform — see Social Alerts for those. This page covers what is specific to Facebook.
Adding a page
- Facebook page
- Paste the page username or its URL. For example:
facebook.com/nasa. - Channel
- Where the alert is posted. A forum channel makes each alert its own thread.
- AvailabilityNeeds a provider
- This platform reaches an upstream service that Arclo's operator configures. If it is not reachable, the dashboard says so and the alert is still saveable — it starts working when the connection is.

Depends on this instance's provider configuration — typically 5–15 minutes after posting.
