Starboards
Repost the messages your community stars into a hall-of-fame channel — as many boards as you like, each with its own emoji, threshold and rules.
Members react to a message; once enough of them have, Arclo reposts it in your starboard channel with a live star count. Up to ten boards per server, each with its own channel — a hall of fame, a cursed board and an art board can all run at once with different rules.
Setting one up
Switch it on
Server Management → Starboards.
Create a board
Pick its channel, or let Arclo create a read-only one that still allows reactions.
Choose the emoji and threshold
The first emoji is the primary one; you can count several. Three or five stars is a sensible start.
Design the post
The default is MEE6-shaped —
⭐ **5** | #channelabove an embed with the message, its author and a jump button.

Starboard
How counting works
Stars are stored as the reactions themselves, and recounted
Arclo does not keep a number. It keeps the raw reactions and re-derives the count under the current rules every time something changes — so raising a threshold, adding an emoji or switching on downvotes recounts every board honestly instead of leaving old posts lying.
- Threshold
- How many stars before it is posted.
- Count reactions on the board post too
- So a message can keep climbing after it has been reposted. The same person starring both places is counted once.
- Allow multiple reactions
- Whether one member starring with three different emoji counts as three.
- Downvotes
- An emoji that subtracts. The net is clamped at zero.
- Self-stars
- Whether authors may star their own message.
- Roles that count
- Restrict who is allowed to star.
- Ignored channels
- Channels whose messages never reach the board.
- NSFW
- An NSFW source message only ever posts if you allow it and the board channel is itself NSFW.
Milestones
Optional tiers: five stars is one emoji and color, twenty is another. The builder has a slider so you can drag the count and watch the post change. Off by default, with a classic ladder pre-seeded for when you switch it on.
Extras
- Link buttons — up to five per board, with
{link}resolving to the original message. - DM the author the first time one of their messages reaches the board. Repost cycles never re-notify.
- Private boards are hidden from the commands for anybody who is not staff.
- A test message sends the board's current design, with sample content, to check it before anybody stars anything.
Moderating a board
/starboard message covers the lot: view the record, recount it, force something onto the board, remove it, freeze it so the count stops moving, or trash it permanently.
- A post deleted by a moderator is marked trashed and never comes back on its own.
- A post removed because it dropped below the threshold can return if it climbs again — with a per-user cooldown so one person cannot toggle it.

Still stuck? Ask in the support server — somebody there has almost certainly configured this before.
