Boost Messages
Thank boosters with a designed message and a banner generated from their avatar — plus an optional private DM, and a test button that sends the real thing.
When somebody boosts the server, Arclo posts a message with a banner drawn at that moment from their avatar and your artwork. Nothing is pre-rendered.
Setting it up
Switch it on
Community → Boost Messages.
Pick a channel
Arclo needs Send Messages, Embed Links and Attach Files there.
Choose a theme
Eighteen ready-made banner designs. Picking one replaces the whole design, so choose before you start customising.
Edit the banner
In the banner studio — move the avatar, change the text, swap the artwork.
Write the message
The standard message editor.
Send yourself a test
The test button posts the real message to the real channel with your account as the booster, marked as a test. It works on unsaved changes too.

Nebula Collective now has 14 boosts
The private DM
An optional embed sent to the booster directly, separate from the channel message and off by default. If their DMs are closed the channel message still posts.
Matching your embed color
Switch on color matching and every chromatic part of the banner — the vector layers and the pixels of the artwork — takes your embed color's hue while keeping its own saturation and lightness. A cyan embed really does mean a cyan banner, including its background.
Placeholders
| Placeholder | Becomes |
|---|---|
{user} | A mention of the booster |
{username} / {display_name} | Their name |
{server} | The server's name |
{boost_count} | How many boosts the server has |
{boost_level} | The server's boost tier |
{member_count} | The member count |
{avatar} / {server_icon} | Image URLs, for icon and image slots |
Detection
No Discord setting is required
Arclo notices a boost from the member update itself, and Discord's own boost system message is kept as a second path. There is a short window in which a repeat cannot fire twice for the same person.
Logging
Four actions: announced, announcement failed, DM sent, DM failed — exactly what the send path actually decides, so no switch on the page is dead.
Still stuck? Ask in the support server — somebody there has almost certainly configured this before.
