Sticky Messages

Keep the important message where people look.

A sticky message stays the newest thing in its channel. Arclo reposts it after a quiet delay or a message count — whichever fits — never pings anyone, and can retire the sticky after a set time or number of posts.

The message that stays at the bottom

Two rules decide when it moves — messages since, and seconds since — with a three-second floor so a busy channel does not turn into a re-post loop.

01
Two rules, one rhythmRepost after N messages or after it has been quiet for a while, with a floor so it never spams.
02
Never pingsA sticky can mention roles in its text without notifying anyone every repost.
03
One per channelEnforced, so two stickies can never fight each other to the bottom.
04
TemplatesSave a sticky's whole configuration and reuse it in the next channel.

Before you ask

Check the pinned FAQ first, and include your server id when you report a problem. This message stays at the bottom of the channel.

What your members type

Commands are registered per server and only while the system is switched on — so a server that never turns this on never sees them in its command list.

/sticky add

Sticks a message to the bottom of a channel and keeps it there. Re-run it to rewrite the one already there.

/sticky list

Lists every sticky in the server, with its channel, expiry and repost count.

/sticky remove

Removes a channel's sticky message and takes its last copy down.

/sticky template

Sticks one of your saved templates to a channel, fully configured.

1 more command in Sticky Messages. Every one can be renamed, restricted to roles or switched off per channel from the dashboardsee the docs
